Hugh Holton is a Composer based in Glasgow.
He studied Composition under Rory Boyle at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, during which he was lucky enough to work on the ballet MONAD. This was a piece celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, in collaboration with Glasgow School of Art and the BBC SSO, conducted by Pierre-Andre Valade. His other favourite piece from this time is the musical theatre-influenced 'A Winter Romance' performed by Red Note Ensemble and RCS Musiclab in the RCS Plug Festival 2014.
Since graduating in 2014, Hugh has been primarily writing music for videogames and short films, including the 5 Star Wrestling games (PS3 and PS4) and Arelite Core for PC, and The Metronomicon on Pc, PS4 and XBox One.
